There have – unsurprisingly – been conflicting reports after Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici and members of his scouting team were seen at the under-21 clash between Italy and Spain.

Following Monday’s game, Tuttosport went all out, “reporting” that the Bianconeri contingent were looking at three Spanish stars. Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin (who has a contract until 2023 and was a Barcelona youth product) was foremost among them, followed by Marco Asensio, who has already stressed his desire to remain with Real Madrid despite a lack of playing time.

Lastly was Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams, a target for many clubs this summer. Meanwhile, the Turin-based (and far more reliable) newspaper La Stampa believe that Paratici was at the match to monitor Sassuolo midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Here at Around J we’d never tell you what to believe, but we think that the more truthful story here is very obvious…
