Juventus will get a small discount on Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain, with the deal to take him to Turin having fallen in value by €5 million.

After passing a medical on Friday evening with minimal fuss, the Argentina international is getting ever closer to completing his move to the Juventus Stadium, much to the anger of Napoli fans.

However, they look set to suffer one final insult as part of the deal to take their hero to Turin, with the Bianconeri to gain a slight discount on the striker, paying €90m as opposed to his €94.7m release clause.

It stems from the fact that Higuain has not submitted an official transfer request to the club this summer, which has altered the transfer somewhat.
