Marco-Verratti-PSG-1024x728

Speaking again about Juve’s summer transfer targets, Max Allegri praised Marco Verratti but thinks he is unlikely to leave Paris Saint-Germain while also discussing another rumoured arrival.

“He’s a great player,” Allegri told Corriere dello Sport when asked about Verratti. “He’s a PSG player though, and I think he’ll stay in Paris.”

The Bianconeri boss was then asked about the reportedly finished move for AS Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, only to insist the transfer is not even close to being completed.

“It’s not done!” Allegri insisted. “When I’m back, Juve will have signed players to improve the team. Juve are at such a high level now that there aren’t many champions on that level.

“To move forward we have to find those players who will complete us in the areas where we are weakest.”
