Today’s transfer roundup starts off with the ongoing Douglas Costa negotiations, according to Romeo Agresti, the Brazilian does not have a European passport and thus will require Juventus to use its last non-EU spot on the player if they do acquire him. The other spot was taken when Rodrigo Bentancur joined Juventus on a permanent basis from Boca Juniors.

Gianluca Di Marzio says that Juventus could enter into negotiations with Bayern Munich as early as next week with Juve looking to spend no more than 45 million euros. If this deal does not work out the Bianconeri are willing to offer Fiorentina 40 million euros plus bonuses for Italian starlet Federico Bernardeschi.

Agresti also reports that Steven N’Zonzi has made his desire to go to Juventus aware to Sevilla. This will certainly help with negotiations over the player, but Sevilla (until now) have remained firm on his 40 million euro release clause. It remains to be seen if Juve will be able to lower this demand. It is also rumoured that Juventus have offered Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina as part of the exchange for the French defensive midfielder.

With the news that Gianluigi Donnarumma will not extend his contract with Milan and instead let his contract expire in June 2018, it is believed that Milan enquired about Juventus backup Norberto Neto. A meeting with Neto’s entourage took place today and it remains to be seen if anything concrete comes of it.
