Gianluca Di Marzio says that Juventus met with the agents of young Genoa starlet Pietro Pellegri, after having met with Inter and Milan, Juve have now sent Fabio Paratici to meet with the player’s representatives. The player was born in 2001 and became the youngest ever player to score in Serie A (breaking Moise Kean’s record one day later). Pellegri is drawing interest from some major European teams.
Juve also met with legendary coach Marcello Lippi’s son Davide, who is the agent for Leonardo Spinazzola and Simone Ganz to clarify their situations further. Juventus are interested in bringing Spinazzola back from his loan at Atalanta, but the Lombardian side have one year left on his deal and do not seem willing to end the relationship prematurely. Ganz will either be loaned or sold this season and has drawn the interest of many Italian teams.
Juventus met with Watford today who is extremely interested in goalkeeper Norberto Neto. The Brazilian looks to be the first player on his way out from last year’s squad. The English side have offered 10 million euros for the goalie and are trying to fight off interest from Valencia who is also keen on the player.
Douglas Costa awaits Bayern’s decision on whether he is for sale or not, his transfer to Torino is contingent on Bayern finding his replacement (likely to be Alexis Sanchez). A deal with PSG for Blaise Matuidi is extremely likely to be reached according to Di Marzio.
