Today’s transfer roundup comes with some huge news from Gianluca Di Marzio, after yesterday’s meeting with the agent of Douglas Costa, Di Marzio tweeted that Juventus and the player’s entourage had agreed to terms on a 6 million euro a season contract. As was the case before, Juventus now have to try and find an agreement with Bayern Munich who are believed to be asking for 50 million euros for the player. Juventus will now look to close the deal for 35-40 million plus bonuses.
Another report from Di Marzio claims that Genoa have made inquiries about Andrea Favilli and Riccardo Orsolini who they would like to have on loan for next season. Orsolini had an amazing U20 World Cup with the Azzurrini winning the Golden Boot but will likely be loaned out next season, in order to get some playing time in Italy’s top flight. When his agent De Campli met with Juventus (also the agent of Marco Verratti) they discussed the possibility of Riccardo staying on at Juve next season with Marko Pjaca sidelined with his ACL injury for the foreseeable future.
According to Romeo Agresti, Juventus met with Pescara officials today to discuss Mamadou Coulibaly and Simone Ganz, it is yet to be determined whether this is part of a swap deal or if Simone Ganz will be loaned to Pescara.
Juventus intermediaries also met with Everton at around 8am (Central time) to discuss the possible transfers of both Norberto Neto and Mario Lemina, both players are looking for more playing time and that is something Juventus simply cannot offer. It is likely that Juventus will need to offload some players deemed surplus before they can begin their assault on the transfer market.
