Stephan Lichtsteiner will be out of contract in June but his situation at Juventus remains unclear, with conflicting reports in the Italian press confusing the issue even more.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 33-year-old will renew his contract with the Bianconeri despite question marks over his performances this season and the fact he was left out of Coach Max Allegri’s Champions League squad at the beginning of the season.
However, various other outlets report that Lichtsteiner will be allowed to leave as a free agent at the end of his current deal.
